Acttuary was built to help people understand the actuarial profession and prepare for getting into it.

There is plenty of support available once you begin the professional exams. The questions before that are different: what actuaries actually do, which practice area suits you, what employers look for, which technical skills are useful and how to prepare for each stage of an application.

Acttuary brings those things together in one place through courses, interactive technical exercises, free tools, application guidance and one-to-one support.

Acttuary is built by actuaries working in the UK profession. The team includes a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (FIA), and our paid CV reviews are completed and checked by a qualified actuary (FIA).

We have also been involved in actuarial recruitment, so the application guidance combines experience of applying for these roles with experience from the hiring side.
