APR actuarial graduate scheme, internship, school leaver route and deadlines

A specialist consultancy. Smaller than the large firms and usually built around one thing, most often pensions advice or actuarial work supplied to insurers. Every actuarial route we follow at APR is below, with the window in the employer’s own words, the closing date where one is published, and the day it was last read.

What to know
The specialist consultancy the co-founder named as missing from this tracker. APR places its associates on client projects at insurers and pension schemes, so the work rotates rather than sitting in one practice. Between projects, associates work from home or one of the London, Edinburgh and Dublin offices. The apply page repeats the closure: applications may re-open later in 2026 for the October 2026 intake.

What to know
APR's work-experience week, formerly advertised as the Mini Actuarial Academy; APR now runs it as the Actuarial Insight Programme on its own page. One week, held twice per year, once virtually and once in person at APR's London offices. APR's page states that for 2027 the virtual week runs 22 to 25 March and the in-person week 19 to 22 July. The 2026 pair, a virtual week on 30 March to 2 April and an in-person week on 13 to 17 July, was read from this page on 23 August 2026 and the word 2026 is no longer anywhere on it, so treat those as an anchor rather than a claim. APR names no date for applications opening, and its page says the 2027 applications are not yet open.

What to do now

There is no date here to act on yet. Read the employer’s own page for anything published since the date beside each row, and spend the wait on the parts of an application that do not need an open window: the CV, the numerical and situational tests, and something to say about why this employer.
