Canada Life UK actuarial graduate scheme and deadlines

A life insurer or annuity provider. The actuarial work is pricing, reserving and capital on long-term policies: protection, with-profits books, annuities, and bulk annuity deals that take on pension schemes. Every actuarial route we follow at Canada Life UK is below, with the window in the employer’s own words, the closing date where one is published, and the day it was last read.

What to know
Canada Life UK's own graduate page describes the scheme and its study package but names no actuarial qualification: the ones it lists are IOC, IMC, AAT, ACCA, CIMA and CFA. The actuarial route is in the employer's own words one level down, in the graduate profiles published under that section, where two graduates are Actuarial Assistants and one an Actuarial Graduate, one says he chose the graduate actuarial scheme at Canada Life, another that she joined the actuarial scheme, and a third names the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries. So the scheme is theirs and so is the actuarial route, but the evidence sits in undated profiles rather than on the scheme's own page. No internship, placement year or apprenticeship appears anywhere in the careers section, no opening or closing date is published, and Canada Life's own applicant portal listed five vacancies on 8 September 2026, none actuarial and none early careers.

What to do now

There is no date here to act on yet. Read the employer’s own page for anything published since the date beside each row, and spend the wait on the parts of an application that do not need an open window: the CV, the numerical and situational tests, and something to say about why this employer.
