What to know: Grant Thornton's advisory early careers page names actuarial work across life, general and health insurance and pensions, and says trainees usually spend their first two years taking the Certified Actuarial Analyst qualification if they specialise in actuarial. Read 9 September 2026, its own pages still disagree: the advisory and programmes pages say “We're open now for applications for our 2026 graduate and apprentice programmes.”, which is last cycle's copy left standing, while its early careers job search shows “1 Job available”, that job being “Register your interest 2027”, with no actuarial vacancy. What the job search does add is the month: it says applications open in September to join in September 2027, which is this month, so this is a page to check every few days rather than one to plan on.
