The Pensions Regulator actuarial placement year and deadlines

A public body. The work is advice to government, regulation of the insurance and pensions market, or running a statutory scheme, and the recruitment process is the public sector’s rather than a firm’s. Every actuarial route we follow at The Pensions Regulator is below, with the window in the employer’s own words, the closing date where one is published, and the day it was last read.

What to know
A 12-month placement programme for undergraduates whose degree requires a placement year, also open to penultimate-year students. On 24 August 2026 the page's how-to-apply section still said applications for the 2024 programme had closed and to check back for 2025, so the page runs behind its own cycles: check it directly, or watch TPR's current vacancies list.

What to do now

There is no date here to act on yet. Read the employer’s own page for anything published since the date beside each row, and spend the wait on the parts of an application that do not need an open window: the CV, the numerical and situational tests, and something to say about why this employer.
