What to know
AIG's own campus page says “Our Early Careers programs include full-time analyst positions, apprenticeships and summer internships which are all great ways to start your career and learn about the industry through a global lens.” It does not carry applications itself: it links out to AIG's Workday early-careers board, and it answers the timing question with “Application dates vary by country, please view the individual job description for further detail”. It carries an actuarial job simulation built with AIG's specialty lines actuarial team, which is the only actuarial thing on it. Read 9 September 2026, its own early-careers board carried no United Kingdom posting at all and both of its actuarial postings were in the United States, so treat this as a general early-careers intake an actuarial career can start from rather than a UK actuarial scheme.

What to know
A general early-careers internship rather than an actuarial one. AIG's own UK careers page says “We offer Full-Time Analyst positions, Summer Internships, and Apprenticeships across a variety of business areas.”, and the word actuarial appears nowhere on it; its own campus page says the same globally, mentions actuarial only as a job simulation, and answers the timing question with “Application dates vary by country, please view the individual job description for further detail”. Re-read 9 September 2026: AIG's own early-careers board still carried no United Kingdom posting and both of its actuarial postings were United States only. So this is the London-market insurer's analyst and underwriting intake, which an actuarial career can start from, with no UK actuarial route published and no dates.

What to do now

There is no date here to act on yet. Read the employer’s own page for anything published since the date beside each row, and spend the wait on the parts of an application that do not need an open window: the CV, the numerical and situational tests, and something to say about why this employer.
